Surreptitiously bearing brunt
" misdeeds "of time
Scathing ,lacerating,piercing
its humble heart
This silent soul.....
Agreeing, covenanting,compromising
to a "bond unknown"

the refrain give a great feel to the poem!
And soul also finds it's mate in all that silence.Trust me on this and definitely as Nalini says this lyrical one is made more impressive because of the refrains.Envy you and others who can churn out music out of sadness.
